The company's history

In order to be able to offer medium and large series quantities in the finished parts sector in addition to semi-finished products, an injection molding department was originally created within Zell-Metall. Since 1954, this department has been involved in the development and series production of technical parts made of thermoplastic materials.

In particular, processes were developed to manufacture extremely thick-walled components and parts with embedded metal components. In 1980, the multi-component injection molding process was introduced. With the development of floatable polyamide for swords and fins, the company played a key role in the spread of windsurfing in the early 1980s. In 2000, the company relocated from Kaprun to Uttendorf, where practically all thermoplastics are processed in modern production halls.
